Owner-operated.
Wyoming, Michigan.

Most people meet a garage door company on their worst garage day — a spring just banged, the car's trapped, and they're about to be late. The last thing they need is a stranger inventing problems and quoting by mood. Elevation was built to be the opposite of that.

Who runs it

Elevation Garage Door is owner-operated by Trey Johnson out of Wyoming, Michigan. Trey owns it, quotes it, and is on most jobs. That means the person setting the price is the person doing the work — there's no commissioned salesperson in the middle with a reason to talk you into a bigger ticket.

What "owner-operated" actually means for you

A lot of garage door brands you find online are lead-resellers or franchises that hand your call to whichever crew is closest. Elevation isn't that. It's a local owner with a truck and a name on the work. The upside for you is simple: accountability. If something isn't right, you're not chasing a call center — you're talking to the person who did the job. It also keeps overhead low, which is exactly why our pricing can stay fair.

How we price

Every quote is free and the price is up-front. You see the exact number before any work starts — no hourly meter, no "while we're in here" surprises, no phone guesses. On bigger jobs you can pay over time through Wisetack, right from your quote.

Up-front pricing matters most on the jobs people fear getting gouged on — a snapped spring, a dead opener, a door off its track. Those are priced the same whether you sound calm or frantic on the phone, and the same whether you're in Wyoming or out in Rockford. Browse what we fix on the services pages, or read repair vs. replace if you're weighing a bigger decision.

What you get on every job

• A real local person on the phone at 616-259-6233 — not an overseas call center.
• Up-front pricing and a free quote, shown before work starts.
• The price agreed before any work starts, so you can see exactly what was done.
• We aim for same-day when we're not booked out, with broken springs and lockouts prioritized.
• An insured local team, who gives you the number before touching the door.
