A free garage door tune-up.
That's the entire offer.
We'll come out, run the same 12-point tune-up we normally charge for, and leave. No fee, no card, nothing to sign, no sales pitch at the door.
- Balance test, full lubrication, hardware tightened
- Photo-eye sensors aligned + safety-reverse tested
- Springs, cables and drums inspected for wear
- About 20–30 minutes. Nothing owed.
You reach the crew, not a call center — open 24 hours · 7 days a week.
No cost, no card, no obligation. We use your number to schedule the visit and your street to batch the route. We never sell or share your details. Occasional service texts; reply STOP anytime.
This is the whole visit. One technician, one truck, about half an hour in your driveway. No second person with a folder, no tablet with a proposal on it.
There's no catch. There is a reason.
Free usually means a foot in the door and a pitch waiting behind it. Not here, and it's worth explaining why, because the reason is the whole business.
When the tune-up is done, our technician puts a small sticker with our number on the inside of your garage door. That's what we're buying.
Garage doors don't break on a schedule you control. A torsion spring snaps like a gunshot on a Tuesday morning with your car sealed inside, and in that moment nobody is comparison shopping — they grab a phone and call whoever they can find fastest. We would like to be the name already stuck to the door, instead of the fourth result in a panicked search.
That's the trade. A can of lubricant and half an hour of a technician's time, against the chance that we're the ones you call in three years. We think that's a good deal for us. You get a quieter, safer door today and owe us nothing either way.
The full 12-point service. Not a squirt of spray lube.
This is the same tune-up we run as a paid service — nothing is held back for the free version.
- 01Balance test — disconnect the opener and hand-lift the door; a healthy door floats and stays put
- 02Lubricate the rollers with the right lubricant, in the right places
- 03Lubricate the hinges and bearing plates
- 04Lubricate the springs and the torsion shaft
- 05Tighten the track fasteners and lag bolts that vibrate loose
- 06Tighten the hinge, bracket and roller hardware
- 07Align the photo-eye safety sensors
- 08Run the safety-reverse test — the door must back off on contact
- 09Inspect the cables and drums for fraying and slippage
- 10Inspect the springs for cycle wear and rust
- 11Check the opener chain or belt tension and the travel limits
- 12Check the weather seal and the bottom retainer
"So what happens when you find something?"
Sometimes we do. A spring with years of cycles on it, a frayed cable, a roller that's worn oval. Not telling you would be the worse thing to do, so here's exactly how it goes:
- We show you the part. Not a photo on a tablet — the actual part, on your door, with the reason it matters.
- You get one number, out loud. Up front, complete, no "starting at."
- You can say no right there. No talking you round it, no discount that appears if you hesitate, no manager on the phone.
- We finish the tune-up anyway and leave. It was free before we found anything and it's free after.
If you want the repair in writing we'll send you a quote, and we'll check back on it twice — then we stop and leave it with you. No badgering, and the price doesn't move because you waited.
What the free tune-up is not.
If we find something worn, we'll show you the part, tell you the number, and you can say no. The tune-up still gets finished either way.
No sales pitch, no financing talk, no clipboard. A tech shows up, services the door, and leaves.
One text after the visit to make sure the door's still quiet. We don't spam, we don't sell your number, and one "STOP" ends it for good.
Four steps, none of them cost anything.
- 01Put your address in. Twenty seconds. We need it to route the truck.
- 02We text you a date. We batch these by neighborhood, so it's the next day we're working near you — usually within a couple of weeks.
- 03A tech runs the 12 points. Twenty to thirty minutes. You don't have to stand there for it.
- 04Sticker on the door, and we go. Nothing owed, nothing signed. One text later to check the door's still quiet.

Called on Monday morning, here by 1pm and garage fixed in less than 20 minutes. Will be returning to this company for all of my garage door needs.
We had a broken spring and he came and fixed it two hours after I called.
Trey was professional and motivated. He does excellent work and goes the extra mile to make sure the installation is secure and successful. Highly recommend!

We batch the free tune-ups by neighborhood so a truck isn't burning an hour of drive time on a free visit. Pick your town to see what we do there, or just call and give us your street — we'll tell you straight if you're outside the line.

The questions we hear most.
Is the tune-up actually free?
Yes. No fee, no card, no minimum, no coupon to print. A technician comes out, runs the full 12-point service on your door, and leaves. Nothing is owed and nothing is signed.
So what's the catch?
There isn't one, but there is a reason. When we finish, we put a small sticker with our number on the inside of your door. Garage doors break on their own schedule — usually a spring, usually years from now, usually at the worst possible moment. When that happens we want you looking at our sticker instead of searching. That's the whole trade: a can of lubricant and half an hour of a technician's time in exchange for being the name you already have.
Are you going to try to sell me something while you're here?
Not at the door, no. If the door has a genuinely worn part we'll show you what we found and give you an up-front number, because not telling you would be worse. You can say no on the spot and we'll still finish the tune-up and leave. If you'd like it in writing we'll send the quote over, and we'll follow up on it twice — then we stop and leave it with you.
How long does it take?
About 20 to 30 minutes for one door, a little longer for two. You don't have to hover — we just need access to the garage and the door open for a few minutes.
What if my door is completely fine?
Then it's a quiet half hour and you get told your door is in good shape, which is worth knowing. Most doors we service aren't broken; they're just dry, loose, and getting louder every month.
How soon can you come out?
We run these in batches by neighborhood so we're not spending an hour of drive time on a free visit, so it isn't same-day. Call or text us and we'll let you know the next date we're working your area — usually within a couple of weeks.
Do you do this for more than one door?
Yes. Two-car, three-car, a detached garage — same visit, still free. Rentals and second properties are fine too, as long as they're inside our service area.
Do I have to be home?
Only long enough to let us at the door. Plenty of people open the garage, point at it, and go back inside — that's fine. If nobody can be there at all, say so when you call and we'll work out access instead of just showing up.
What do you need from me?
Your name, your street, and how many doors — that's it, and it takes about thirty seconds on the phone. We need the street only so we can route the truck to your neighborhood. No email, no account, nothing to fill in.
Are you going to sell my information?
Never. We don't sell, rent or share your details with anyone, and nobody outside Elevation ever sees them. Your number is used to schedule the visit, check in afterward, and send the occasional service message. Reply STOP once and you'll never hear from us again.
Is there a deadline on this?
No countdown and no expiring coupon. We do cap how many we run in a week, because each one is a real technician for half an hour, so the wait gets longer when a lot of people call at once. Nothing gets taken away from you if you wait.
What if I had you out before — can I get another one?
Yes, once a year is reasonable for most doors. West Michigan winters are hard on rollers and hinges, and a door that was quiet last spring is usually dry by the next one.
Where do you go?
Anywhere within about 25 miles of Wyoming — that covers Grand Rapids, Kentwood, Grandville, Jenison, Hudsonville, Byron Center, Walker, Caledonia, Ada, Rockford and the rest of the metro. If you're not sure, call and ask — we'll tell you straight.
Free tune-up. No catch, one sticker.
12-point service across the Grand Rapids metro. Nothing owed, nothing signed, no pitch at the door.
